He is the artistic director of the Zurich-based company PiccoliProduction, which he founded together with Simone Blaser in 2007. In recent years, the company has also produced internationally, for example in Argentina and India. Bruno worked as a choreographer for the youth theatre group AG Theater Rämibühl from 2010 to 2018 and created two operas with the Opernverein Zürich. He regularly teaches at prestigious dance institutions both at home and abroad, among others Grundausbildung ZTTS, HF Bühnentanz, Espacio LEM, l’Ecole des Sables, ArtEZ, SEAD, Iwanson contemporary dance school, Danscentrumjette and Iceland University of the Arts.

The class is strongly based on release technique and gives attention to floor work. The aims of the training are:

  • to establish a smooth, soft, confident and at the same time clear and sharp relationship with the floor, as if it were a dance „partner“
  • to better absorb the impact with the floor while executing movements based on the relation between weight and gravity going up and down
  • to dance an extended dynamic phrase with many changes of levels and directions, without losing power, softness, focus and presence.
