Lesli Wiesner
Lesli was a Principal Dancer with the Los Angeles Ballet, Soloist with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and Zürich Ballet. She was Dance Captain and dancer in Hamburg and Basel productions of „The Phantom of the Opera,“ Zürich and Eurotour productions of CATS and Assistant to Director/Choreographers, Baayork Lee and Chet Walker on several productions. Lesli travels internationally and in the Zürich area as Guest Teacher, teaches for th skaters at Stéphane Lambiel’s Skating School of Switzerland and is a Certified Pilates Instuctor. Currently, Lesli is on the Ballet Faculty at Atelier Rainbow Tanzkunst in Rüschlikon and for professional level Open Classes at Tanzwerk 101 in Zürich.
Class Description
The Ballet classes of Ms. Wiesner incorporate an enjoyable approach to the daily training of a dancer. An American style class highly influenced by the Balanchine technique, the class challenges the dancer, at their own level, to explore their use of speed, control, musicality and concentration while daily „fine tuning“ and „training“ their basic technique in classical ballet – a discipline most necessary and basic to all other dance forms and techniques.
